Windsor Timeline. Does it barspin with 32c? 28c? which Bikesdirect bikes barspin?

I'm trying to find out about this bike after deciding not to get a Republicsbike. I'm just looking for something I can barspin on with 700c and start learning to tricks.

Right now, my brother is nice enough to let me use his KHS on campy record wheels - but I wouldn't dare use those wheels for tricking because he'll kill me if i break anything. Anyway, the bike is fast and fun but has a lot of toe overlap. But yeah, I just want soemthing I can practice on in my spair time when I feel like being outside and stuff.

Could someone write a short review of the Windsor timeline?

What other bikes from bikesdirect barspin? I'm trying to keep it at the $299/399 price range.

Thanks in advance. And =P to anyone who *****es about tricking on fixed gears...to each their own.

fk having a piece of aluminum between my fork and steer tube. That's asking for trouble. Get a Windsor timeline and a SE 26" landing gear fork.

...And riding a bicycle designed for racing use on a smooth velo track as a freestyle BMX bike isn't?

It's the same as having a longer steer tube. It's not some catastrophic change like 10 spoke rear wheels. they don't blow up. I bet your fork crown will bend before this tube extender will

so you are telling me that you would use that spacer? You get my point. Quit trolling.

Look, if you want to run that spacer and jump anything more than 3 stair sets be my guest. As for me I'm not going to take my chances. I rather have a MTB fork or a fork that is made for abuse.

If I was a tarckstar and wanted to be able to barspin, I might go for it. Anyway, I'm willing to be the stock wheels will taco and fork crown will give out before the headtube and headtube spacer fail.

while that is all fine and dandy that you don't want to be a "tarkstar" I offered advice of getting a mtb fork that wont buckle under the pressure of tricking, and is able to make the windsor timeline barspin. So what if you taco the wheel? that has nothing to do with the spacer. There have been reports of headtube spacers failing under the stress that people put on them. Not to mention the stock fork gets destroyed in the process of tricking. I'm sorry for trying to make the bike forums a useful place.

So, nobody here actually owns the 2010 windsor timeline? And no one knows if it'll barspin out of the box?
