I agree, this bike is disgrace for name dutch bike. It's crap as hell, it just tries to look like dutch bike but fails in that too. Real dutch bike something that uses bombproof parts, lasts 50 years without almost mainteance and has everlasting style.
This one uses cheap parts that aren't going to last more then few years.
Real dutch bike costs 3-5 times more but is worth it.

Notice the hightensile steel as well? Dutch eople also have nicer, sometimes modern, sometimes very old fashioned bikes, but plenty of people ride these cheap bikes, even more ride whatever the junkie sold them,
. Not so different really. Republicbikes is pretty ****, but I don't see how this can be messed up. They're not the greatest commuter bikes unless you live in a nice cycle friendly country thats reasonably flat. I mean, pretty much anything is better for riding on the road in any car-centric country. But if you live in an area where traffic isn't too high or is at least fairly bike friendly(I live in Sydney, most of Sydney and the suburbs around it aren't easy t get around on any thing but a fairly speedy bike, but there's some nbeighborhoods where even the main drag is very bike friendly and the neighborhood streets even have bike lanes.) If you live in a bike friendly area and just want something to get you from home to the bar or to work very near by, then it would be pretty usable even here.
