The Dumb Questions Thread
I'll start:
does dura-ace fc-7600 cranks fit on kilo tt bottom bracket shell with: shimano UN54 68x107 Bottom Bracket? (stock kilo bb is 68x108 spline) or which spindle length does it need for this setup for the UN54 Series BB? |
"can it barspin?"
|
i'm dont really have knowledge of the whole spindle length ordeal.
im asking about specifically which UN54 bb for the fc-7600 would fit on the kilo tt. let me know when you can help. if not, you read it before you came in here: its the dumb questions thread. dont link me other pages that do not answer my specific questions please. |
Deleted post.
Just offering and misunderstood. |
a UN54 with 68mm shell width, 1.37in x 24tpi, 107mm spindle length should work fine as long as the axle is symmetrical on your current BB.

Good idea, there is a thread like this that is very successful on another board I'm on -- it really unclutters the main board.

This should be renamed official and stickied.

the fc7600's are track cranks right? iirc they're also njs. to get njs stamping they need to have iso tapers. un54s are jis taper. for a cheap iso taper cartridge unit go with like a miche or campy. pretty sure there's stuff in the 25-30 dollar range from them. oh and those eighth inch cranks are lulzy |

The failcranks are hilarious.
|
it would be fun to try and ride a bike with the cranks installed in the same direction.

It would be just like Powercranks, "the legal performance-enhancing device."
http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=139538 And it would be quite a ride on a fixed gear. |
