might work better if you cut down plastic boards.
of particular favourite are the small boards you can get during elections off of people's lawns :innocent:
or your own lawn when you didn't consent.

LesterOfPuppets 03-02-10 11:40 PM

Yep, use that cardboard as a template for some coroplast and you'll get a few more wet rides out of it.

Did someone steal your rear brake bridge?! Damn bike thieves will steal anything!

Kenneth 03-03-10 07:43 AM

your dog is looking at you thinking, "really?"

stillanimal 03-03-10 07:47 AM

you could get a corrugated plastic produce box from a grocery store dumpster and make one that would last a few months.

Scrodzilla 03-03-10 08:06 AM

I've seen people do that when they get caught unexpectedly in some drizzle. It's not meant to last, just get you there without soaking your back.

Brian 03-03-10 08:48 AM

Clear packing tape would make that pretty waterproof. I'd write something snarky on it first.

Scrodzilla 03-03-10 08:53 AM

Or decoupage some pics of James Hetfield all over it.

I'm sure the tape won't keep all the moisture out.

wonder what happens when the plastic reinforced cardboard gets so waterlogged that it can't hold its own shape, collapses and gets eaten by your wheel... :D
