Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

might work better if you cut down plastic boards.
of particular favourite are the small boards you can get during elections off of people's lawns
or your own lawn when you didn't consent.

Bikes: everywhere

Yep, use that cardboard as a template for some coroplast and you'll get a few more wet rides out of it.

you could get a corrugated plastic produce box from a grocery store dumpster and make one that would last a few months.

I've seen people do that when they get caught unexpectedly in some drizzle. It's not meant to last, just get you there without soaking your back.

Clear packing tape would make that pretty waterproof. I'd write something snarky on it first.

I'm sure the tape won't keep all the moisture out.

wonder what happens when the plastic reinforced cardboard gets so waterlogged that it can't hold its own shape, collapses and gets eaten by your wheel...
