Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

another fixed convert

i've been riding ss for about a year now, and after my rear wheel was recently stolen i decided to go ahead and get a new one with a flip-flop hub........ now, i wish i'd just gotten a track hub! my first fixed ride was a little shaky, but now i love it, and don't see any reason to ever go back to coasting again. fixed is the shiznit!

Bikes: 2 roadies, 7 fixed-gears, 1 hardtail, 1 full suspension mtb, and 1 hybrid...so far.

Fixed-gear--it's such a wonderful thing!!!
