Removing paint from chain

So I have a white KMC 410 chain and I'm now sick of the white and just want it normal chrome. Would it be ok to strip the paint, or would it damage the chain? Thanks

New chains cost less than the time effort you will spend stripping.
Chains are a disposable wear item that should be changed regularly anyway to avoid costly cog/chainring damage.

You can strip the paint (and any lubricant) easily enough, but don't expect to see chrome underneath.

Stripping paint from a chain sounds like punishment in a Turkish Prison.
Just skip your Starbucks extra Dolce latte Machiatto this week and use the money to buy a new chain.

LOL. Your chain is worth less than a can of paint stripper.

Ride you bike instead of just looking at it.

Paintstripper-$6,KMC Z410 in nickelplate-$8.But as a rule of thumb,a chain that costs less than a six pack will last about as long as it takes to drink one
