Ya know, as a mod I'm obliged to view all these vids from start to finish to make sure they're not in violation of any forum rules. Well, that vid was pure torture and I almost grabbed a kitchen knife and ended it all. Please, please, in the name of all that is sacred and pure, don't ever post anything like that again.

is this so? that's like giving roman candles to a bunch of teens and telling them not to shoot each other.
I won't do it, because that means I have to suffer watching it first, to make sure it's really torture, rather than something more sublime.

Well, how do you like them? How much do they weigh? Are the bladed spokes legitimate? A good value for $200 after riding them around?

This is so funny, the background music really got me in the wheel buying/review mood hahaha. So detailed bro, Im glad I was able to live through this enticing journey with you. The action shots at the end were almost too much to handle.

But really the worst part is how the entire 'review' consisted of your tedious buying experience, with no review of the wheelset itself...

It took nearly 7 minutes until we actually saw the wheels. Just saying.

Oh, and there was no review. It was 7 minutes of *****ing about the process of getting the wheels, 1:30 of unpacking/mounting, and 30 seconds of how they look on the bike.

We're gonna paint a happy little bush right there...

just a happy little bush.

^^^ THAT'S WHAT YOU SOUND LIKE. and wow dude, you want options at less than 200 dollars? seriously? there are PLENTY of options for a clyde, even if you want machined walls and deep sections.

and you want to talk us through all of your shipping and billing info? GOD DAMN. you did this just to torture us. admit it.

your unreasonable consumer expectations are what's "uncool"

god damn dude. you suck. of course they're all the same company.

YOU WANT CUSTOMER SERVICE FOR THAT LOW LOW PRICE TOO? GOD DAMN!!! if bikes were hookers, you'd want to spend ten dollars and complain that she wasn't a 10 and disease free.

no, not everyone carries a smartphone. if someone's selling cheap wheelsets to undercut actual shops, there's not going to answer your email in half of a day, and they're going to be flustered when you call them because they sold fourty wheelsets in the last hour.

want quality? don't buy cheap wheelsets. want service? don't buy from cheap online retailers.

OH MY GOD. YOU CALL THAT A REVIEW? YOU DIDN'T EVEN RIDE ON THE WHEELSET!!!! WHAT THE **** WERE YOU THINKING????

ATTN: VIDEO SHOULD BE NAMED "Nine Minute Order System Complaint and Unboxing"

i could have done what you did in thirty seconds. first fifteen seconds: Hey, don't order from wheel and sprocket/eigthinch.com. they're the same company and their service sucks. Second fifteen seconds: I chose another big, evil bottom-line high-volume-sales company that had the wheels i wanted in stock, this is what they look like.

done. nine minutes? really? you must be autistic.

This is why the internet should be illegal

EDIT: Forgot to mention that its probably not a good idea to post videos that contain your name, address, and email

That was so uncomfortable.

Also, what possessed you to essentially make an instructional video about how to order items over the internet? I'm actually curious. From what you described, it seemed you got pretty reasonable service from them. Impatience seemed to be your problem, not Eighthinch. Try living at the ass end of the world and then you can complain about postage times. Only a week for a wheelset? You gotta be ****ing kidding me.

I've ordered stuff from them and have never had any sort of problem. I placed the order, it showed up. Maybe I'll make an 11 minute video describing (vaguely, of course) my problem-free transaction. I'm not even going to say what I ordered. It shall be epic.

Seriously, a week for shipping? That isn't a long time at all. You don't order stuff from the internet very often huh?

I've ordered multiple times from them (Wheel & Sprocket) too, and had great service every time. Once, they sent a defective chainring, and immediately issued an RMA with a pre-paid return label. As soon as they received it, my PayPal account was credited. No fuss, no muss. The OP totally deserves all the grief he's getting for posting this whiny drivel (within the bounds of forum rules, of course).

@Scrod - I look forward with great anticipation to your new epic vid. May I suggest a drum solo for background, with the tempo increasing throughout the vid in anticipation of the glorious finale. Instead of a talking torso, how about just the back of your head. Oh, and cats, I want to see your dancing cats. Make sure your vid is at least 30 minutes long to test our ability to stay awake. It will be glorious.
