Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Hahhahahaah this was hilarious

How about mods stop making elitist threads and complaining about what the people posting here want to discuss.

They killed the most popular thread here! over 1 million hits! Just because 2 12 year old kids were having an argument over who was cooler!

The saddest/dumbest thing about it is that the two kids "arguing" about who was "cooler" most likely won't even be around in a month and those of us who have been around a while, enjoyed the thread and are accustomed to know how to deal with one another have to now go without.

Ah whatever. I'm going outside to ride my bike.

The Don brings up a very pertinent point: That thread had over 1,000,000 views. That's a lot of advertising dollars. Maybe the forum owners/mods should rethink closing that thread.

I think my daughter is a junkie; she skipped the light stuff and went straight to fixed!

After all, it's so much better to spend considerable chunks of your life concerned about other people's possessions, than to enjoy it. Living your own life would be such a bad thing, because it would be awesome.
oh gee didn't think about that. me making fun of some dip**** who puts a hed3 on his POS schwinn varsity is on the same level as mutilating children. seriously?

No, of course it's not on the same level. It helped to illustrate the point that bad things don't have to be perpetrated just because they have been done for a long time.

BF should use the "sink" feature that other forums use.
