Actually, according to Chris Carmichael (TM), and CTS(TM), Lance does off season training on a fixed-gear bike. You can read all about it in one of Chris Carmichael's (TM) many books (TM).
However, I don't think Lance has ever participated in CM.

Actually, according to Chris Carmichael (TM), and CTS(TM), Lance does off season training on a fixed-gear bike. You can read all about it in one of Chris Carmichael's (TM) many books (TM).

i remember that bike. it was some uber-expensive ti bike made to look like a $50 beach cruiser. it was called the "newsboy special" or something like that.
