Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

I just verified with the seller that it is indeed only for the frame. IMO, 850$ for just the frame is not such a great deal. I recently bought (a few months ago) a 1973 paramount track for 900$ and the only original parts missing were the stem, bars, and pedals. Maybe Boston is way more inflated than Chicago... I don't know but 850 for just the frame seems more like MSRP not actually a "deal"

p.s. I'm not saying that 900$ for my p-14 is necessarily a good deal either, but self control can be satisfying too, albeit usually in hindsight.

Don't buy that crap. Buy an awesome Republic bike instead. They have sweet colors.

Scrod should buy it for his wife, and if it isn't sized right for her, he should offer to ride it himself to make up for his error.
