Rich Gangl is from Colorado. Back in the day I met and rode with him through a mutal friend. He's a swell guy and used to make great steel frames with fantastic lug work. For one summer I rode through the foothills outside Denver with him and seeing his name today is like going through a time warp. I have no idea what happened to him or if he's still building bikes. Back then it was a one man operation and you'd wait 6 months to get your frame, and they weren't cheap either. He had a limited, esoteric cleintele. Strong rider too. Thanks from bringing up his name. Gonna put on my Double Nickels On The Dime cd and head down nostaglia lane.
