Moser Frames

Is anyone here an expert on deciphering Moser serial numbers or can anyone direct me? My current project fixed/single is a Moser. It appears to be 80s vintage but could well be later since I have seen ads for the same frame as an NOS 2001 Moser classic. It is a police auction bike, so I have no history. The serial number (well the only number) is stamped in the BB and is 57 s 85 as three seperate stampings.
