Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? Bikes: 1988 Bridgestone RB-2 converted to ss

My ss Bridgestone

Here is my 1988 bridgestone rb-2 converted to single speed. I've been riding it for years and it has been great. It is a little too big for me, but as an around town cruizer it is still a blast. Still thinking i am going to get a kilo tt and slowly upgrade it (once they get them back in chrome).

I like your bike more than a Kilo TT.

Yeah i was a little worried about the drop outs myself, but it worked! Thinking about getting some orange fixation 700s (the one with the slightly slicker black center) to keep up the look, but hopefully give me a better grip and puncture resistance on the crap roads up her in logan.
