rumanic2,
You know, I think about 3,500 is the practical limit for a fixed gear. When I say practical I mean that anything above that is paying for things that touch your heart versus things that actually improve performance or longevity. For example, want Henry James to produce a set of custom lugs for your new steed? Hank is more than happy to accommodate you. For a price. Want stainless steel tubing? Show floor quality chrome? Want Imron to do a custom color (like those gorgeous customs that are different colors in the sun than in the shade)? How about having that clear coat accented? Prefer that machine to be welded up with 45% silver? How about fun things like those gorgeous Paul fork ends? Not a single one of those things do a thing for performance and one could argue longevity versus much, much less expensive choices. However, sweet dreams are made of these. |

200.00 cash got me this. Another 8 dollors got the front reflector taken off and a spacer put in. Took out a cain link and spraypainted it white. lol I might buy a stronger crank as i am a fat ass and this stock maruishi crank isnt cuttin it! I love to dream as much as the next but i feel this 20o.00 bike will bring more joy than 5k could ever bring. Absolutly fell in love with my new bike!

it would be cool to....
The more i think about it my frame would look sweet with black stealth bommer paint job, carbon, fork, seatpost, and stem, and a disk on the back with a front spinergy. I wish i had money!!!

conversions with discs make me lol
completely satisfied with my bike, only thing i kind of want to change is the wheelset. |

I like the rear reflector on the seat post. After a certain price point it's the little things that matter.
