stem
i just picked up my nitto njs drops and i love them. i thought it would be awkward but they're perfect.
i have a crappy no name plastic stem i wanna switch out. any recommendations?
my friend wants to sell me his nitto njs stem for $50 but it slants down.. A LOT. kind of thinking it might increase my saddle to bar drop like woah. any recommendations? i just want something that looks clean/sexy. thanks!

I don't know what this type of Stem is called.. I know it isn't a quill. But basically I have one that looks like this Thompson:

but its ****ING PLASTIC and so corny. My friend at my LBS just got a silver Thompson stem that looks very similar to this one he recommended but I love the looks of the Nitto NJS stems. Nitto dynamic is looking good.
Its just funny to have these nice ass track bars attached to a ****ing WALMART looking stem. Haha

Do you know the size though?
Regardless of size, VeloOrange's got good looking stems.

Ah, so it has to be threadless. So since I plan on buying a Panasonic frame within the next 6 months, probably a better move to buy one of the threadless stems Vixtor recommended on the velo-orange site rather than a $100 Thompson stem, yeah?
Also, will those Velo-Orange stems work on my Pake? I need a 100mm stem and I'd want the one with least amount of rise, just something straight or with a slight drop if at all possible.
Thanks!

Oh it's a Pake, then this will do.

I think Pake comes with an one inch fork...so you'll need to shim it.
