Buying New Chain for SS. Recommendations?
So. Im buying a new chain for my bike. I just installed a pair of lightly used 700C STAR SWIFT ARRIV WHEELS.
Can anyone confirm if these work with 3/32 chains?
What chain(s) can you guys recommend as a good chain to use for mostly SS, but perhaps also Fixed use?
I'd like to get a colored chain if possible!

Chains are disposable wear items.
Get whatever is cheap unless you really want to pay extra for color.
If you move this to SS FG you will get three pages of replies.
Enjoy

if you want colored chains, you are definately in 1/8 territory, which will work on 3/32 cogs. that said, i would get an izumi super toughness chain or similar track specific chain if i was gunna go fixed. colored chains are cheap and therefore not as high quality.

Not that it isn't a great chain, but breaking a chain tool ( a good one at least) pretty much means you were using it wrong. I've snapped one when I've been wrenching while watching tv or something, but it's always been my fault.

The K710 links have a slightly "odd" shape plus the chain is kind of thick/wide. It also wasn't the best, most robust chain tool. All of that sort of contributed. And yes, I was probably also doin it wrong.
Anyways, great chain either way. Just use a decent tool for it.
