Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Which pedals

I'm getting paid soon! Yay! So it's time for some new pedals. Which one of the following pedals would you pick and why?

MKS GR9: https://cgi.ebay.com/CLASSIC-MKS-GR-9...#ht_7643wt_992

MKS Sylvan Lite: https://cgi.ebay.com/CLASSIC-MKS-SYLV...#ht_7415wt_992

Wellgo R025: https://cgi.ebay.com/WELLGO-TRACK-FIX...#ht_7204wt_992

They're all around the same price of $25-30 shipped. I'm leaning towards the GR9s because I wear Vans and Chucks and all them thin bottom shoes. The only problem with GR9s is that they don't look very grippy at all, but I don't know if that's a non issue or not.

Hooray for payday.

I'd shoot for the Gr-9s, for the comfort in all types of footwear.

I've got the gr9's. Actually that was my first pair. I loved them. Really great value for the price.
But then I bought used mks custom Nuevo with dual strap toshis on craigslist with mks gate for 120 bucks.
To me, it's a world of difference.

But pound for pound. Go with the gr9. But ivr ridden the sylvan. They are excellent as well.

Had two GR-9s. You can just use longer bolts and you can slip the second strap under, and use double straps. That what I do.
