27" or 700c?

Just got a new IRO hub and was wondering what to lace it up to? I have a Wolber Super Gentleman 27" that is pretty nice but would it better to get a decent 700c rim? Times are pretty tight and cash is low...Any suggestions on a cheap 700c?
