Clean complete bikes in multiple colors.....help?

My girlfriend wants to get a complete bike because she doesn't want to build this new one. Any suggestions on websites or brands that sell clean frames? We know bikesdirect sells the kilo stripper but its sold out in a lot of colors/the colors aren't that nice.

Just suggestions on other frames that have minimial amounts of decals

I dont understand what you mean by clean? If you mean not dirty, most bikes comes clean. If you mean "raw," some bikes come in that form without paint, if you mean decal-less, some bikes come without stickers

hahahaha I didnt explain that well, you are correct. I meant decal-less definitely not raw. Any brands I can find in stores/any websites that sell decal-less or minimal decal complete bikes. She doesnt want to build this one.

EighthInch makes a blank frame called a scramble. Completely decal-less and comes with Fork, Headset, and Seatpost for under 140$.

(dont be fooled by pics on the webpage... the decals come with the frame unattached)

I had one for a while and I totally loved it!

You can also build a complete from the website and customize each part to your liking (kinda)

Thats not bad for $140 but she keeps saying she doesnt want to build a bike and we also dont have the tools to build a bike anymore since we moved. Jesus its like $600 for a complete bike....wtf could possibly be on this bike for it to be $600 hahaha

Ive heard of this brand but is IRO legit...at all? I never know with these brands because of the other ridiculous brands like Big Shot Bicyles who come out and sell their bikes for like $600 when they look like republics and probably weigh 30 pounds haha

I was going to throw IRO out, but I realized it wasn't 'clean'.

I actually saw that on bikeisland yesterday when I was looking for frames. I mean they will have the red and gold available on bikesdirect as a complete bike at the end of the summer or whenever they feel like letting people know so we can wait....but she wants to know options too.

IRO is pretty decal-less with only one decal on it.

It just sucks theres no companies who sell complete bikes with no decals. Ive honestly only seen one so far and its the Kilo Stripper.

On some bikes, you can remove the decals. Just be sure the frame wasn't treated with clear-coating over the decals. If there is a specific model you are interested in, you can google or ask a dealer. Good luck!

Seriously? IRO is 100% "legit". I'm sure others will chime in here.

Iro is a great brand!!! quality components, nice frames that sport a good balance between weight and strength/tank-i-ness, and having dealt with the company 2 times before, good customer service.

as said before, most decals remove easily, i understand she wants a "good color" but buy a bike based on price to quality ratio. you can always repaint or "spice up" the look of the bike but you cant magically make a frame or components better unless you put the big bucks down to replace them.

I mean I agree totally about the components but we dont have tools anymore so we cant take apart our bikes and paint them, etc. If that was the case id buy any bike right now and just paint it and put the components right back on. Maybe I should go with the IRO bike...does anyone know if the decal is clearcoated on?

Is your girlfriend really a discerning rider?

If not, let her go to Urban Outfitters and get a Republic for $399 and leave the aesthetics up to her. Then she can't complain. She can make it as colourful, as girly, or as manly and plain as she wants.

Moto Track.

Alternatively, you could always buy a cheap bike with decals and get it powdercoated. Some bike shops usually have a flat powdercoating fee, including disassembly/reassembly, so that's also an option if you don't mind shelling out the extra dough. More color options and all that jazz.

Im sure its a couple hundred to powdercoat it and Im fine spending the money to have what I want. I just need to figure out which frame I want or if I can find a complete bike with my color
