Painting over a chrome frame?

Does it stay on with a good powdercoat?
anybody ever do this?

Bikes: Cinelli Mash / CAAD9 5

Factory bikes that have chrome and paint combos are powdercoated over chrome. Powdercoating is the only paint that will truly bond over the chrome. You're in good shape.

I've never paid to get a frame powdercoated but certainly have owned many bikes that came like this from the factory.
