It will sooooo explode on you mid skid into a busy intersection with a bus coming in one direction and a semi coming in the other. The result in using that chain is certain death.

nathant53 07-19-10 11:21 PM

Can anyone explain to me why, lol. I don't get it.

Deshi 07-19-10 11:22 PM

If you need an explanation, you will never get it.

those shift assist plates will be helpful.

If you are riding a SS/FG, why in God's sweet name are you riding a chain that is built for quick, easy shifting?

ianjk 07-20-10 08:36 AM

Kind of funny, the chain this is about isn't for 9 speed, it's a bmx chain and I only had to remove one peice and not a whole link. And the chain I put on the mtb a KMC K710sl failed.

diaper eater 07-21-10 01:13 AM

go to kmc's website and find that chain under bmx, i dare you.

good luck homie.

Scrodzilla 07-21-10 05:21 AM
