Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? It will sooooo explode on you mid skid into a busy intersection with a bus coming in one direction and a semi coming in the other. The result in using that chain is certain death.

If you are riding a SS/FG, why in God's sweet name are you riding a chain that is built for quick, easy shifting?

Kind of funny, the chain this is about isn't for 9 speed, it's a bmx chain and I only had to remove one peice and not a whole link. And the chain I put on the mtb a KMC K710sl failed.
