remake of sparton framesets?

made in columbia, 26.4 seatpost, little info. "drilled for front break" seatpost lug looks awful.

https://cgi.ebay.com/HAND-MADE-STEEL-...item45f417c7e0

theres more from the same ebay seller.

buyitnow price is 200.
perhaps i should offer him 150.

Those dropouts are so ugly... I dont think its a remake of sparton's, no.

Sure, it is cheap for a lugged frameset, if I had $200, i wouldn't mind buying it.

Yeah i just checked velospace. Different dropouts on the sparton + they were made in chile, not columbia. Whatever, but if I do offer him a price, theres many concerns...

1. where to find a decent 26.4 post
2. find out the geometry
3. the bottom bracket might not be faced well

etc..

That frame sucks. Check his other listings. He's got a bunch of other fine garbage too.

Handmade garbage.

Those track ends look very rugged and durable. I kind of dig them. Way better than Leader's monstrosity-wheel-holders.
