MOre frames....sorry guys grrr

Anyone know of any frames similar to the Soma Van Ness?

For the regulars, I know i've been posting a lot of frame questions, but I have to make sure I choose wisely.

I was considering a fixie build, but since my Windsor is fixed, im seriously considering building an ss (sorry Scrod, might NOT pull trigger on a Leader 722TS lol)

Heres the frame.
https://somafab.com/vannessplus.html

Im looking primarily for a frame with track ends but with cable stops....like the vanness....or the SST...but unfortunately, none of them have aggerssive geo.

Thats fine actually, but preferable.

Suggeiotns?

I wouldn't use aggressive geo on a singlespeed - however if you must, add adhesive cable stops, or those metal diacompe ones. Keep the hour for now, use the flip flop to your advantage.

That is my Suggeiotn.

You are not going to find aggresive geo frame with cable stops unless you go custom.

Why do you want aggressive geo? It does not make you go any faster than you can pedal.
I'd get the Mark V if you want cable stops.

Actually, the Van Ness has a more "aggressive" geo than the Mark V.

It's okay, man...I was unable to get a 722 group buy happening anyway.

What about the nickel-plated Bike Island frame? It's the same frame as my SE Premium Brew. The geo is pretty relaxed (like the Van Ness) but I love the hell out of mine.

you know i saw that nickle plated frame and it looked pretty sick. But Id like something with a normal color. Not nickle lol although I relaly do like how it looks.

Hmmm...adhesive cable stops....intersting.

Other than that, I do like the Dawes SST and SST AL, although steel frame would be preferable (dissqualifying the AL).

Hmm thanks guys, and thanks Scrod lol.

Zip ties also work, if you have a black frame and black zip ties, no one will see it.

Also, I don't think SST comes as a framset only.

Bikes: Too many bikes, too little time to ride

why don't you just put a ss freewheel on the other side of the flip flop?

Zip ties= tacky. Haha. SST doesn't i checked lol. To bad tho.

Plus. Ive been looking to build up a bike for a while now, and I was just throwing ideas out there. Started off as a fixie build intention, (still considering)but now im strongly leaning towards a singlespeed build and keeping the Hour fixed. Like.....bulid a singlespeed that could pass as a road racing bike, but still be a ss. Like....just go roadie-nuts on a ss build lol.

Like, probably no deep Vs on a build like this, no track drops, and nothing that would typically be first-look-associated with the FG scene.

But idk. Its all just ideas Ive been putting on paper.

Angus looks really good actually though. Thanks Vixtor.

And yeah. I do have a freewheel, but as implied, I think itd be nice to have two bikes, very, very distinct in character. Sounds stupid but heey. Its my life lol.

Angus doesn't have cable stops, on the other hand, it is Reynolds 631.
