So this guy selling bikes on craigs list has this frame that he mentioned to me in an email. I normally ride 50cm to 52cm, this is a 53cm, but this bike looks pretty awesome.

What's a fair price for a frame set like that? I saw one on another forum seemingly around the same condition for about 180 dollars, but who knows if that's typical or not.

he is asking 400, that said, he said everything is negotiable. And he is a retired dood who works on bikes more out of love than money.

400 seems too much.

That is one beautiful frame, try asking the C&V section, maybe they can provide more information.

Good Call. 400 does seem a bit much, I am going to drop by his house tomorrow, he has a lot of bikes for sale, might see if I can talk him down.

He restors bikes and sells them on Clist. usually putting PRISTINE shimano 600 parts on most of his bikes. Not sure what his plan was for the Gavina.

I paid 125 for a mint Concorde frame on ebay in a Buy it Now. It isn't the Gavina though.

I've enjoyed mine quite a bit except the paint hasn't been exactly amazing. No worries though
