Resting my hands on the lower end of the curve where it flattens out, causing me to drop down even more makes my hands go numb and creates pain in my shoulder very fast.
My simple question which some seem to have glossed over is a shorter reach the answer or a shorter stem for best fit when going for a track bar that works for your fit? Not a roadie question, not a track question but using these bars on the street. In the real world. No drugs. There is no problem with an adult conversation about this as opposed to the typical BF pissing contest. Let's keep it on topic. While clearly inter-connected, I always use stems for reach adjustment and bars for hands/breathing/steering issues. |

I ride track bars, but they are much much difficult to set up. Reach is pretty far and drops pretty deep and there isn't much you can do to adjust that. I am pretty lucky and things worked out pretty nicely, but it took 6-7 months to get everything right. A bit excessive. A shallow anatomic would got me set to go in about a week. ... |
