Extralite RoadStem - stiff enough?
I look for a stem for my fixed gear bike. I want a really stiff one but it would be nice if it a lightweight as well. Of course this is a contradictory but try to find a good compromise. Does anyone has any experiences with the Extralite RoadStem OC? It's pretty light but is it also pretty stiff? Or would suggest something more like the new 3T ARX LTD or do you have any other ideas? I weigh about 172 lb (78kg) and I like to accelerate my bike ;-)

I'm building up a new fixed gear bike so I need a new stem and I was wondering if you guys have any proposals for a quite stiff and yet light one. I guess the 3T ARX LTD is out of my price range. I just mentioned it because they claim it's so super stiff.

~200grams to boot. I handled a bar 200-300g and one over 1kg. They feel different like a baseball bat and a pair of chopstick in my hands, but I can't feel much difference between em when I am riding. I think Legs are much much stronger than Arms and Hands.
Topic jumps, but I felt hellova difference between a lightweight tire and a heavy skid tire. Just hit like ton of bricks until I got used to it.
