Combining Alloy Hub w/ Steel Cog?

So my brother just bought a new set of hub, Joytech - Taiwan Brand
the hub is made from alloy material...
what I want to ask are:
is it okay if I use steel cog on alloy hub...??
will it broken the thread on hub if I use it for skidding...??

Just make sure you clean and grease the threads before you put the cog on, and torque your lockring down really tight.
