Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

What a day!

What a day!

I came out of work, and there was a note on my bike! Someone who rides a fixed gear on campus had left some contact information on a piece of notebook paper. As I was walking away from the rack, another, totally different rider on a brakeless fix pulled up! so we got to talking, and we were both in somewhat of a hurry, so we decided that the three of us will meet up at the critical mass in BG on friday. I was amazed that there was even another serious rider here, let alone two brakeless fixed riders!
