Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Cranks, chain, chainring, saddle, bars, pedals/straps....I changed the tires but that was wear not necessarily and upgrade, and I put Ben's cycle cog and lockring on but my bike didn't come with either so again not really an upgrade

Motobecane Track

Pedals/clips/straps: MKS GR9/MKS steel/generic leather
Saddle: Selle Italia SLR
Brake: Tektro R310
Brake lever: Tektro RL726
Bar: Nashbar Aerobar
Grips: Nashbar or All-City Track Grips
Cog: Eighth Inch 17t
Lights: cheap Planet Bike blinkers
Miscellaneous: SKS seatpost fender, tubes
On the list: Thomson seatpost, shorter stem

Most of the stuff has been replaced because the stock stuff sucked (pedals, saddle, brake). Some stuff I changed out because I wanted to switch things up or I wanted better fit (bars, saddle). Some stuff I got for practicality (cog, lights, fender). I also bought a lot of tools.

The two things on the list are to get my bike to fit me better/because I like spending money on my bike.

brooks bar tape (under construction) to match the saddle
