Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? Why do guitarists put drumsticks on the dash of their car?
So they can park in the handicapped spot.

They used to be some sweet old steel road bars I pulled off a cheap 70s ten speed. I miss that whole bike.

I'm on the left. During spring training camp for our team. We'd just climbed Mt. Diablo. The guy half my size did it a LOT faster.

Just a little less hair...

And yes, I know it's a mess. I just moved in this past weekend and I'm still arranging/unpacking/etc.

Had to situate myself in the corner or my glasses would be glowing cause of the reflection off the screen.

is your boxspring too big on purpose? could be a cool DIY project with some woodstain and some pine stock.

Actually, I think rather its the bed is too small. My fiance works at a Marriott and they were getting rid of all the spare (unused) mattresses cause they were upgrading and for some reason it's really odd sized. The boxsprings are normal king size but the bed is like 4" shorter and 2" more narrow than a normal King. It was new in the packaging and said Serta/King on it but I can't figure out why its so odd shaped???

Nobody was able to explain it to me and Google produced nothing. lol

Your boxspring may be a California King...that could account for it if your mattress is just a regular King

You might be right on the boxspring, but when I measured the actual bed it was neither cal or regular king. I have to tuck normal King sheets in just a little to get them to be taut. If I remember right its just a few inches shy of being a normal king. My fiance thinks it may be the way their hotel bed frames are built... but I find it kinda odd when I searched the dimensions nothing ever came up. I just dont see Serta making a custom size for hotels, and if that was the case I'm sure someone would have the answer. The guy at the mattress store swore I measured wrong when I went to get a frame for it.

I can't complain, it's a really nice mattress and it was free.
