Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? They're on Amazon for the same price basically, with reviews saying they're bright and nice, until you drop them and they shatter into 200 pieces.

Competitive Cyclist is actually having sales on a lot of things. They have some tempting deals on Prologo Evo saddles, but I can't find any reviews of them.

Prologo saddles aren't bad; they're more popular in Europe than here in the states due to a lack of distributors/ dealer network here. They happen to provide high end OEM saddles for euro brands such as colnago and tommassini.

C-dale has been putting prologo's on their bikes as well on the mid-range models, and fizik on the higher end ones. I've ridden on one (from a caad10-5) and it felt solid and looked pretty decent as well.

mavic tubes for $4 and the 3 pack of castelli socks for $12 are bonktown type deals. I really like those socks when it's warm. I'd grab a couple of tubes if it weren't for the shipping. I didn't get a flat but all the people around me this last week seemed to... none of which brought tubes

also I love my zxelliums for anyone on the fence. though i've seen them as low as $110 (I think) on bonktown recently

Probably gonna place an order tomorrow for one of em. I feel a whole lot better about it because of their NQA return policy. No harm in trying it out. I'm lookin at the Prologo Nago Evo TRI40.
