From: Where even Richard Nixon has got soul
Bikes: Michelle Pfieffer, the Carbon Fiber Wonder Bike: A Kestrel 200 SCI Repainted in glorious mango; Old Paintless, A Litespeed Obed; The Bike With No Name: A Bianchi Eros; RegularBike: A Parkpre Comp Ltd rebuilt as a singlespeed.
Not a recommendation, but a question: Twenty years ago, when I was in grad school there was a bike shop under the I.C. tracks in Hyde Park.
Is it still there? And if so, what is it called?

Mission Bay Multisport caters to cyclists, but it does have the triathlete stuff. Nothing wrong with that. What I do like about Mission Bay is that they have a real familiarity with high end, European bikes that I haven't seen at too many places. And they have a good amount of high end bikes I really admire. Besides that, I like the mechanics there, and I like the owner. He has a good memory too, because he remembered me from months before when he met me for about 5 minutes.

I wouldn't be suprised to see him sucking smoke out of a seat tube. I'd rather go somehwere I can converse with the mechanic in order to better suit me. His skills are great, it's just that it's like pulling teeth in order to get what I want.
