Will this color combo work?
Well, I've changed just about everything but the wheels on my urban FG, and am thinking of going with off colors to go with the orange and black. Do you think the green rims and gold hubs will work here, or is it just going to look like I've collided with a paint truck?

Yeah, I like white too. It's just that it seems like everyone has white, and I'd like to stand out from the crowd. Know what I mean? Still, if the only white is the rims, and the tires are solid orange, then maybe I'll retain my awesome individuality. Yeah, yeah, I can dig it.

Oh nooooo. Didn't your mommy ever tell that dressing with different tones of the same color is gauche.

Those are just the el cheapo stock wheels with Weinmann ZAC1800 rims. The hubs are loose ball and not very smooth, regardless of how they are adjusted. The saddle is an Origin 8 Urban Pro, and it is surprisingly comfortable. And no, of course I don't "need" new wheels, but I'd just like to dress up this bike with some deep V's. I have two other road FG's that are really utilitarian and plain as day, so this is just a fun one.
