10yr warranty on the headset...go for it.
i personally like the look of the king sotto voce headsets now...by the way, which means the headset your looking at was made before november '08.
chris king also just released a new split ring design at eurobike last week...so you'll be able to get the headset up to date (read 1990's) with a retrofit kit for about $30.
and be sure to be a cool kid and install the KING cups upside down.

The headset is one of the least important upgrades one can make on a bike, at least functionally. But, hey, only you can decide if it's worth it.

I bought one and love it. Not only am I supporting a local (to me) business, but it matches my gold setup quite nicely. Feels very lifetime lasting compared to the open ball bearing one that came stock. Half off for about 6 months of use is pretty good. My LBS said that the warranty is void if the frame isn't properly machined when installing.

there's a world of difference between the ****ty cane creek's that come on entry level bikes and a buttery-smooth orbit-x, functionally speaking.

I just sold one for $80 recently that still worked great, but was well-used with slightly faded anodizing. So yeah, as long as that one is in good mechanical/cosmetic condition, it's a great deal.
