Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

I can't help but think that a video will soon surface of hipsters trying to skid from inside the frame triangle (is there a name for that triangle?) with their legs on the bars.

Referring to the original post: It seems strange to me that people like this don't compete in the Olympics or something.

BMX Flatland used to be in the XGames, but it wasn't very crowd friendly so they ditched it. XGames now is less about skill and more about having big balls and literally risking your life.
