Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? I built "John L" a long while back, wish I still it. It was my first ever build if I'm not mistaken. (I know the pads are on wrong, it was my first build! LOL!) If anyone ever gets a hold of this same exact frame in 52-53cm PLEASE hit me up!

^^^I get the Lennon thing you've got going on but that bike would look so much better without the song lyrics on it. Maybe if the words didn't have a white background or something.. I dunno. Anyway..

I liked it. The guy that bought it removed them and resold it after many years of use. I couldn't afford to buy it back at the time.

Wow. Nice. What are the chances of finding one of those in decent shape for a decent price?

Bikes: 09' Bianchi San Jose

I named my Bianchi "Joseph Steel" for the following reasons: Joseph It's a San Jose so I took out the Saint and anglicized the Jose to Joseph. Steel This should be obvious, it's a steel frame!

I got mine (a 1955) for $100.00 Cdn three years ago... think I got a smoking deal as all the bike needed was to have the oil topped up in the hubs and bb and the old boy was good to go.

Nice.

My friend is a very talented photographer and said that if someone says it would make a nice postcard you should take that as a great compliment...

He takes shots of mountains and some require a lot of waiting, hiking, and back country knowledge and some can only be taken for a few minutes a day over a period of a week if you want to get the right lighting.

A lot of people say his images would make nice postcards...
