Low spoke count radial front, anodized braking surface, flexy, cheap spokes.

I love the hubs and highly highly recomend them, but I would lace them to different rims.

Yeah, the rims at that price range will be similar. Make sure you get some good formula hubs, and not some crap like came on my bike.
I'm sure if you get either from velomine the formula hubs will be fine.
