Wabi bikes...odd geometry?
Anyone else check out Wabi bikes? Seems like a lot of bang for the $. I am about 5'10" and it seems like the standover height is too high when matching the desired top tube length for my frame with Wabi. I am curious what others think about Wabi's dimensions particularly standover height.

I'm already impressed that you determined your frame size based on top tube, right on.
What's your inseam? You might just have short legs.
Also remember that frame sizing is quite variable. Stem lengths/angles, seatpost and saddle adjustments, etc. etc. make a huge difference and oftentimes you can ride any frame within quite a large size range. Because of this, some people like to choose frames based on the type of riding they do, as frame geometry probably makes more difference than size (though size differences result in geometry differences as well, so it's kind of a moot point). Bike fitment in general is very complicated, so to make a long story short, I wouldn't worry about standover height and pick a frame based on the top tube and seat tube length, and be happy.

That is the problem with what seems to be somewhat unique to the Wabi. I need a 32" standover or less and I like a overall reach of 68 mm. Normally on most track frames getting the top tube effective length and stem to get to a 68 mm total reach the standover is not a problem being 32 inches or less but with the Wabi the standover height seems always too high in relation to the top tube length. Most if not all the dimensions of other company's frames don't have this particular quirk or problem. It seems one dimension conflicts with the other.

I love my Wabi
The geometry isn't quite like anything else I've been on, but I'm 5'10" with a 32cm inseam and the 55cm fits me great. It's a little close on the standover than I'd expect, but with a 100mm stem I find the reach extremely comfortable.
I am extremely happy with my wabi. It's extremely well made and very attractive. I highly recommend it.

They measure the seat tube c-c, so similar to the Kilo TT, you need to add 3cm for a c-t sizing. The 49cm is more like a 52cm, and so on.

Also, standover varies wildly for different manufacturers, based on various assumptions regarding tire diameter. I can't stand over some of my bikes, but they fit me well nonetheless.

i guess the two of us are out. its too bad because that scandium frame is awesome. also, their smallest sizes have unfortunate sub72degree headtubeitis.
