Heard one track off the new one. It was not the same band, sorry to say. Not much growl there.

Bikes: I built the Bianchi track bike back up today.
I don't think that I could bring just 3, but I'll try.
1) Reverend Horton Heat - Baddest of the Bad Since You Been Gone (with the insturmental song before it - forget the name)
2) KMFDM - Godlike
3) Pigface - Eat ***** You Fu*king Redneck

ever go to Durty Nellie's shows? Op Ivy played there...I was a "bouncer" (hell, I knew most people at the shows - respect works better than a maglite) at Nellies and McGregors for about 3 years for the punk/HC venues.

gotcha. I was working there 88-91.
You probably suffered the indiginities of "Underwater People" and the like. God rest your poor soul.

It's a progression from Aftertaste (I know many Helmet fans who disown that album, but I like it anyway) but it's no Meantime or Betty.
There is growl though.
As for riding songs, and this isn't the ultimate but lately it's been serving well:
Botch - Transitions from Persona to Object
Closure - KM
Guilt - Untitled #4

why is this only a fixie thread?
can anyone take pity on a poor SUB-urban chicagoan, formerly really into the punk/metal scene in chicago during the 80's and 90's, who is now disguised as a middle of the road, suburban guy and really loves cycling, music and run on sentences....and burn some of these juicy tracks for winter training sessions?

Bikes: 2 fixies, 1 road, 29er in the works.
Ministry. Jesus Built my Hotrod.
Suicidal Tendancies. Subliminal.
Prodigy. Firestarter.
Several other songs have a close third.
Primus. Jerry was a race car driver. (Willy was a track bike rider.. my version).
Jay Z. 99 Problems. (It's got that BIG sound).
The Orb. Transamerican Express Highway. (long and trancy)
I'm kind of liking the new Prodigy album. But undecided.
