Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

We(most Keirin rider) use rubber cement when we mount with grip in Japan
I have it at a stretch after painting the inside and handle bar of grip with rubber cement when I mount with grip
It cuts it with a cutter when I detach Grip
There are not other methods

yeah...you'd think that'd work real well, but the thing with keirin grips is, they're really tight. the SOYO ones, unstretched are about the same diameter as the handlebars. i put some on up to the "flats" of my handlebars and gave myself a naaasty little blister. they are never coming off, unless i cut them. the top layers of skin just separated from the skin underneath...then filled with fluid after a couple days. i couldn't really ride BMX for a week or two without burning palms of death.

the air compressor method seems to work pretty well for the most part. a friend of mine put some SOYO grips on his trials bike, then sold it to me and i replaced them. the only problem with the compressor is that the grips are pretty thin, so they tend to expand and look like a frog's chin/croaking sack when you pump air into them very fast.

Allright, I never put on track grips.. if I get a hold of a pair, I'll do that. Thanks.

I like how all three posts were worded slightly differently too, like we wouldn't catch on.
