Frameset trade, opinions please.

52 CM Cinelli Vigorelli frameset 2009 (Too small)

trade for

55 CM Bianchi Pista Concept 2008 White (Good size) + $50 + a Wheelset
Caveat: The frame has a small dent on it.

OR

Sell the Vigorelli for cash.... But not for much because PBK lowered Vig prices.

Pics of the wheelset/frame/dent beneath sticker. (Sorry for the big pics)

Seller agreed to have the frameset checked out at a LBS for any cautions. What should I do. I'm torn. I like the concept but it has a dent.... I like the vig but its too small.... I would sell it but i wouldnt really get much.. sigh.

I trust that the SSFG community would help me make an informed decision... hopefully.

i would sell the cinelli and save up for another cinelli in your size.

or see if you can't trade it out for a used cinelli in your size from some industry insider for some kind of promotional work. i mean, if you bought the bike online you may have a hard time convincing a shop to do that for you, but plenty of non-bike-shops have access to pbk and can probably hook you up if you get in with the right people. you could put fliers up around your town, or host a bike event/party/race in their name.

****, i don't know anyone who wouldn't want you to be riding a bike that fits you. maybe email the mash people and be like "hey, do you have any used frames in 55cm?"

As you can see I spared no expenses and put only the highest quality parts on this bike,............SRAM s300 1.1 crankset....................you won't find a better track machine than this with all these quality NJS Parts.

I think its a little over priced(hyped) but not by much.

i can see the dent, it is in the sticker pic, look by the finger. looks to be a big dent, and i wonder why he put a sticker over it, mabey it chipped the paint too. i would rather have the vigorelli because its not drilled but if it doesnt fit it is useless to you. i would consider selling the vig and take the money and look for a pista concept in better shape.

also judging by the 650 front wheel how low the seat is and the risers it looks like the guy might have been using the bike for doing tricks, and watching my friends do tricks and how much beating their bikes take that frame could have had a hard life before.

btw how much would you sell the vig for? sounds like my size! if so i may be interested lmk, thanks!

Hmm, that's what I was thinking too with the 650 wheel. But i mean if i dont like the pista concept I could just resell it right?

Here's an updated picture
Oh, and he agreed to get it checked out at a lbs before doing the trade with me there so...
Edit: He claims there's no paint crack

i say keep the Vig, if you really like the Pista concept, one will come your way, that hasn't been used and abused.

I wouldnt trade for that concept. As much as i like concepts and want one, i would want a fresh one with no problems at all.

Sell the vig, and get one in your size. The vig is an awesome bike

You can always sell the vig and get a fresh super pista (basically a pista concept reinforced for street riding) in the pista concept colors.

Don't worry, I have a good feeling bianchi is going to release the rest of the p cept colorways for the super pista; it's all a matter of time.
