Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

There was a Scrambler group buy, I'm not sure what happened to it.

I don't think your LBS will be interested in ordering you a Scrambler. Even if they do it, you're kinda inserting an unnecessary middle-man.

Reviews? Here:

Why get your lbs involved (and probably jack up the price)? Just buy the damn thing!

I grabbed one last week when they had the 25% off deal for thanksgiving. Frame, fork, and headset, $115 shipped. Figure it was worth it. My brother rides an older model scrambler and likes it for what it is. I'm just going to use it as a silly beater/tricktrack bike probably. Havent gotten it all assembled so I can't give a review, but they did ship it to Chicago in 2 days.

Just order it yourself. Find a coupon though I think eighthinch has some christmas giftcard thing they are doing with the v3 scrambler too.

As from their blog site: https://eighthinch.wordpress.com/

Get a Scrambler and get a free gift. Now when you buy a Scrambler frameset you’ll get a $25 gift card free when you use the coupon code “scrambler_frame_christmas”. Buy a complete bike and get a $100 gift card free with the coupon code “scrambler_bike_christmas”! Only on Cycling Closeouts.com.
