what do /ssfg/?

So I was riding home from school tonight, in a somewhat good mood, nice weather, class wasn't too bad. And I start noticing a grip of play and I think my cleat is beginning to come lose. I'm going down a slight grade so I decide to pull over as it flattens.
As I pull over my entire leg falls off my bike, crank arm still attached to my shoe. I was about a mile from my house so I just rode home, one foot on the down tube, the other pedaling fourth. As I pass a bar in silverlake some older woman stops me and goes "Do I know you from somewhere?" anyway, boring conversation ensued, I think she wanted me to go home with her.
So I get home and my aunt brought over some live dungeness crab. So I munched some of that down and ate some spanish anchovies over rice.
What do?

When your crank arm falls off like that is serves as an indicator that your bike is no longer safe to ride and that you need a new one.
If you are the daring type you can check the spindle and crank arm to make sure they are not rounded out and of they look good can reinstall the crank arm and torque it to spec.
If it comes off again you will need to get a new crank arm... the steel spindle will probably be ok.
Is you aunt single ?

I spent two weeks in Silverlake, the California sun cascading down my face. There was a girl with light brown streaks and she was beautiful but she didn't mean a thing to me.
Besides under-torquing, what would cause a crank arm to fall off like that?

I think it just lost a bolt and I failed to notice for far too long.
I'm going to take it to the Co-op tomorrow night and get this looked into. See if I can't just toss on a new bolt and be back and running. I hope I haven't damaged my cranks because I certainly wont be able to afford to replace them for a little while, and not being able to ride once school is over would destroy me. Would riding without a Crank arm bolt for a bit destroy the spindle?
As for the woman, she was older then me by at least a decade, not that that has stopped be in the past. But not really my steez in terms of cougars and the convo really was too odd to care. She knew me from school it seems.
