Bikes: The ones with wheels

No wind today.
My wheels are new MA-3's. About 5 months old.
Frame looks good.
Back wheel looks good aligned with the back of the seat tube.

Do you ride with a brake? Brake levers can make you lean if you only have one......

Just no-handed riding to impress the ladies? I think you need to work on your no-handed skids and trackstands if you really want to impress them.

But seriously, I checked twhat everyone suggested but I found nothing wrong. Should I take it to <shaking my head back and forth> to my LBS?

Just thought of something - do you ride with a bag? That might have something to do with it, especially if you don't on the roadie.

I tend to pull off to the right when I'm drunk, and that's the side I always wreck on...

So hold the drink in your left hand.

Actually, I'm right handed, so if I were drinking at the same time as riding, that's where it would be. Usually I just stop and slam, though.

think, it may be your rear hub adjustment-- I know you've had some problems with the wobble between the cup and cones on the hub you've got on the back of the bike. The Suzue jrs are, well, a pain to adjust.

I'd be surprised if it's alignment-- I've got a couple of bikes that are slightly out of line in the rear triangle, and you can still ride 'em upright no hands fine.

Could also be a spot of tightness in the headset; as I recall there is some in your bike.

No bag, no drink in my hand, I tried in the middle of the road and even just flat pavement.

Thats true Pog. Maybe we can look at that next time we get together.

So should I take it to my LBS and have them look at it?

maybe if they have some sort of jig they can put it in, to check its alignment. like if the four frame tubes do not lie in the same plane. a slightly twisted head tube, for example, would be enough to cause this effect even if you couldn't see it just by staring at the bike. i believe.

ridden into anything really solid lately?

I have a car? Why didn't I sell that yet? Even a beater car would probably buy a decent bike and a bottle of Jameson...

If I did have one, I'd probably just steer to the left. And I wouldn't be asking about it pulling when I drive no-handed, cuz that would be dangerous

Bikes: Trek road bike, schwinn fixed conversion

I've had a slight lean on some occasions, just shifted my weight around on my seat, and blammo. or just use more leg force opposite to the lean and you should be allright. riding no-handed is not gonna impress
the girls where i live, rain skid stops problably would. I've been trying them all morning as we have a light drizzle here. (that's the only time i ever try skids, guess i don't ride fast enough to ever have a use for them.)

well see, there's your problem right there
you bought it from a frenchman
the french hate americans, we in turn hate them
we must eat freedom fries, and freedom toast, there shall be no more french influence in our beautiful patriotic land...you shall now send your bike to Herr Fuhrer in Washington, it is for the revolution, you should be proud.
