FG cyclist killed in Hit & Run

Many in this sub-forum may not visit A&S, so I just wanted to link my thread of a FG cyclist killed in a Hit & Run

Unfortunately, this happens all too often here in Denver as well. My prayers go out to the riders family. I hope they catch the driver of the vehicle.

This is a very sad story to hear. I hope they have found the person who killed the cyclist and he is put to justice.

I don't understand why some states allow cyclist to ride along highway shoulders. I cannot imagine riding next to cars doing 60mph+.

the thing to understand is that the 55pmph areas are only on the interstate (H1/H2/H3) where bikes are banned the rest of the state's roads are mix use and as a result lower speed not to mention more crowded.

The speed limit for that section of highway is 35 mph.

There are a lot of circumstances where an irresponsible driver might not notice, especially in a suburban. They don't put a whole lot of detail into the accident, but it can't be any worse than the lady who drove some distance with a cyclist under her car.
