Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

I wholly disagree! Those pedals are just fine for that bike.

It's my city beater so 95% of the time I'm wearing high top air max's when riding. They work really well for me, so I'm inclined to keep them. I'm open to suggestions though. I see Lambda pedals, but no accompanying straps for them.

It's all about the "look", don't you know? And how others think it looks at that! Never mind that something works well for you.

As you can hopefully see, this is a ridiculous way to decide what to ride.

Run full-length housing with clips instead of cable stops.
That bar tape isn't doing you any favors.
Yeah, those pedal straps gotta go.

Bonus points for the -17 stem and tidy seat bag tho.

Got some thinner tape ordered. Are these housing clips any good?

It's a Lezyne Road Caddy Bicycle Seat Bag that I found on Amazon for $20. Great little bag. The wide velcro strip holds it much better than lots of the saddle packs out there. Holds my spare tire, one co2/adapter, 3 Wrencho Tire Lever, and two hex keys.
