I've had the mini metro for a couple of months now and I have nothing bad to say about it. It's comfortable (while riding or walking around), roomy as hell and is waterproof. I can easily fit my 13' macbook, charger, a pair of jeans and my u-lock. Plus I managed to get it brand new for $60 off of Gilt.

My Citizen has a stash pocket... maybe? The large compartment can be un-velcroed from the "shell" of the bag.

Does anybody have a pic of the older mini metro with the stash packet?

Not the pocket I was referring to, not a pocket at all, but this is where I transport clandestine goods now that I don't have a real stash pocket.

To save you the trouble, and since Chrome likes to be all hush hush about it, here it is.

I bought a Metropolis 6 years ago, and gave it away when I got my mini-metro two years ago. I think I paid something like $130, so you're getting a good deal. It's definitely quite large, I can fit my 13" MBP, several textbooks/notebooks, calculator, lock, and some drinks in their with no problem (I've been known to fill it with ice and beer on occasion). For day-to-day, non-messengering use, the mini-metro is definitely the most reasonably sized, and of course it's incredibly high quality. My metropolis is still going strong for my friend. My only precaution would be that you shouldn't buy a bag like this unless you'll be on the bike with it a lot. They're not as comfortable when you're walking with heavy stuff inside. I have a backpack for when I'm not going to be biking and have a ton of **** to carry.

Haha, back in high school, a "friend" punched the buckle with his thumb, it came undone, and I instinctively reached for it, sending the buckle flying into my face, splitting my lip.

Oh damn I need to go home and "discover" this pocket

wait I'm still confused Jesusbananas, you're saying that all the chrome bags come with the stash pocket. But the reviewer you quoted says that all the bags larger than the mini metro have the stash pocket.

I'm also guessing that you meant to say this and just made a typo: But the reviewer you quoted says that all the bags larger than the metropolis have the stash pocket. |
There is no "laptop pocket", yummygooey was simply referring to the area between the liner and shell.
