Avner, instead of looking for a 25 degree stem you might wanna think about loosing the 21s.Unless you're problems come from riding the tops a 0 degree drop bullhorn will make life easier.

I concur. Unfortunately I dont have a brake setup for my RB-018's and the tops don't relieve the stress.

Just received the stem, saddle and headset today, YAY!!! Still need the headset installed though, but so far she's looking mighty nice imo.

As mind as well throw in my 2ct.I like my 725V1 but i find the only way to ride that geo in the street is with a short(60mm)stem and risers. There is no way I would ride mine with drops, pursuit bars or even regular bullhorns. That is on a frame I bought by ST not TT.If I would have bought the frame based on TT I could as mind as well bought a funny bike. Not raggin', just posting to give a heads up(avners problem comes to mind).

I know one guy riding a V2 725 and he uses a short 80mm stem on his 55cm. Said Leader told him they designed the frame to work with shorter stems. He is about the same size as me. After I rode his bike it all made sense.

I got an 80MM stem on mine right now. I could definitely see dropping another CM or two off of it and being more comfortable. Really what I need to do is figure a way to deal with my 3 inches + of drop :/

Lilcphoto 03-24-11 08:00 AM

I will chime in with the fact that a 110mm stem with risers on a 55cm is quite stretched, but It feels pretty comfortable to me. I'm definitely in the market for a shorter one, but I have no issues with the longer one.

avner 03-26-11 03:43 AM

could anyone post a link to the leader 725 geometry chart? I can't find it :/

Considering the tt length i doubt you ever will.

treefilly 03-27-11 05:03 PM

is the leader 725tr 2011 worth about 130 more than the 2010 version?? I have decided to get the 725 but not sure if i should save up for the 2011 one or just purchase the 2010 one now.

Scrodzilla 03-27-11 05:12 PM

Save up for the new one. Aside from the smoothed out welds, the chain stays are shorter so you can tuck the rear wheel in closer to cutout in the seat tube and they don't have any crankset clearance issues.

The 2011 725tr is $80 more than the 2010 version, not $130 as you stated >>> http://coghouse.com/
